Today was the draw for the FA Cup Third Round Proper, or the stage when teams from the Premier League and the Championship join all of the clubs from the lower leagues. It's another chance for Paul Lambert's team to pull off a giant killing against a massive club from League Two win a trophy since winning the EPL isn't really realistic.

Aston Villa will be taking on Blackpool, a team the Claret and Blues have not faced competitively for a few seasons, since they were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2011-12 season. The game will be at Villa Park, with the Tangerines visiting on the first weekend of January 2015, either Saturday the third or Sunday the fourth.

Unfortunately, we don't get to see a team like Blyth Spartans, as they were drawn against rivals Birmingham City, just one slot below Villa were drawn against Blackpool.
