After having surgery on a nasty shoulder injury, Fabian Delph has returned to training in a non-contact role as he begins his return to the Aston Villa team.

Personally, I feel that the team haven't missed Delph that much - Cleverley and Sánchez have performed more than admirably in his absence, but the return of one of Villa's star players can not be ignored. In fact, I'm not sure as to how Delph will fit straight back into the team.
At any rate, this is good news all-around. We have shown we can do something without Delph, so should he leave or get injured, I feel it won't affect the team as much as the fans would have feared. And of course, he's doing well following an injury, that's good as well!
So, what do you think? Will Delph get slotted back into the first team or will he have to deal with a bench place? Sound off in the comments!
