Merry Christmas from all of us here at 7500 to Holte!
It's been an incredible year on the blog, and that's despite the fact that we've had the sorrow of watching one of the worst Aston Villa teams in recent memory. But our great year was thanks, in large part, to you the readers. We're all nuts about the claret and blue around here, so it's pretty safe to assume that we'd be writing about them even if no one were reading, but it's way more fun to have you all around. God knows the misery would eat away at us if we didn't have some sort of support network. And we've got some of the best readers and commenters on the Internet, so for that, thank you.
And on a personal note, I'd like to thank everyone that has helped make this the best year this site has ever had. Kirsten and Aaron for starting my favorite blog and eventually allowing me to help lead it. Jack for being my ever-present co-host on the podcast. Matt for his unwavering dedication to Villa history and absurdity. Andrew for providing a balancing voice that reminds us every once in a while that we're being dumb. Thanks, too, to James, Alex, Adam, Thomas, and RJ for agreeing to join this crazy crew and making us instantly better for your contributions. I couldn't be more honored to work with such an incredible bunch of writers.
We'll be here tomorrow to cover the Boxing Day festivities, and we've got a post going up later today, but for now thanks again, Merry Christmas, and happy holidays!
