Suárez set to return to action Wednesday against Manchester United | The Guardian
Luis Suárez will play Wednesday in the League Cup tie at Old Trafford for Liverpool in his first competitive game since April following the end of his 10 match ban for biting. Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers used an unfortunate cliché saying that Suárez was "champing at the bit" to start the match. Rodgers hasn't yet decided if the Uruguayan will start, but he should see some time on the pitch in some capacity against the reigning Premier League champs.
Klopp may receive further punishment from UEFA | FourFourTwo
UEFA may further punish Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp after he was sent to the stands for dissent in last week's Champions League clash against Napoli. The European football governing body are set for further discussions about his punishment beyond the one game touchline ban that was imposed on him for the October 1st fixture against Olympique Marseille. A UEFA spokeswoman said that a decision would be reached by October 2nd.

A truly spectacular goal was scored by midfielder Glenn van der Linden in his Belgian second division side Hoogstraaten VV's match last Saturday. After seeing his spot kick saved, van der Linden smashed home the rebound with a stunning overhead volley. Just how the manager drew it up, I'm sure.
