Aston Villa vs. Liverpool: Lineups and open match thread

Villa make two changes from Wednesday as they try to nab their first home win of the season.

David Rogers

After a wonderful opening-day win at Arsenal and a tough, but encouraging, 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Wednesday, Aston Villa are finally coming home to Villa Park. The club will only be making two changes as they get set to take on Liverpool. Jores Okore comes in for Ciaran Clark and Leandro Bacuna takes the place of Karim El Ahmadi. Both, however, are on the bench. Seems to be a case of keeping players fresh.

If you didn't get a chance to, yet, make sure to check out Aaron's match preview for today. And I had a chat with one of SB Nation's Liverpool blogs, Anyfield Asylum, about the match. Of course, stick around in the comments to chat the match. I'll have gifs and commentary both here and on our twitter feed, @7500toHolte.
