No. No he is not.

He's staying at Villa. Don't panic.

I told you on Tuesday that we'd likely be playing around with this, and we've decided to ditch "Setting the Table." So welcome to Kickin' It! As we said the other day, feel free to use this as a football post, or as an off-topic open thread. If there's anything you'd like us to put here, just let us know. We're always looking for good things to link to!

Chelsea unconvincing, Aston Villa unlucky in 2-1 loss at Stamford Bridge | WAGNH

A nice look at yesterday's match from the fine folks at We Ain't Got No History, one of the best football blogs on the planet.

I'm going to try and limit self-linking here, but if you missed Kirsten's wrap of the game, make sure to give it a look.

In shocking move, Chelsea not interested in Benteke | Ealing Gazette

Don't really click that link. I just wanted to point out what a horrendously stupid story this is. A few days ago some stories percolated that Chelsea and Arsenal would get in a bidding war over Benteke. The thought process seems to have been "Well, they need strikers, and Benteke is a striker. THERE IS A LINK." But of course these stories ignore the fact that Benteke just re-signed with the club.

Plus, in Arsenal's case, they ignore the fact that signing Benteke would require spending money.

The stupidity around Donovan McNabb | SB Nation

I know we're a football/soccer site, but you'll see me linking non-Villa/football stuff every now and again. And I absolutely loved this story about Donovan McNabb by Jon Bois, so go give it a read.
