Aston Villa looking at Algerian winger?

Are Aston Villa looking at Sochaux and Algeria winger Ryad Boudebouz?

With the season less than a week away, it appears that Aston Villa may not be done in the transfer window just yet.

The Daily Mail reports that Aston Villa scouted Sochuax winger Ryad Boudebouz during the 1-1 draw between Evian and Sochaux on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season.

The 23 year-old Boudebouz is an has spent all of his professional career at Sochaux. He has represented Algeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2010 World Cup. He's made 15 appearances for his country, scoring one goal. Born in Colmar, France, Boudebouz had previously played for the France U-17 and U-19 teams. He had also recieved a call up to the U-21 French team before deciding to switch to the country of his his parents' origins.

He joined the Sochaux academy at age 14, before making his professional debut for the club at age 18. In 140 appearances for his club, Boudebouz has scored 27 goals and has 22 assists.
