Are you ready for 17 August yet? Well, get excited, because the English Premier League 2013-2014 fixture list is out, and Aston Villa play...Arsenal at the Emirates. Well, that's not so bad. The Villa didn't do too terribly back in February, and won at the Emirates in May 2012. It could've been worse.
And the first home match of the season will be Villa hosting Liverpool. Let's hope the Reds are determined to amuse early in the season.
Yeah, you probably already knew Villa would play Arsenal first, because who wasn't staring at Twitter all morning, just waiting for the matches to be announced? But if you're curious as to the entire list of Villa fixtures, you can find that here.
Should be simple
It's always easy to beat a newly promoted side at home, right?
Cardiff City: at Villa Park -- 9 November
Crystal Palace: at Villa Park -- 26 December
Hull City: at Villa Park -- 3 May
It's a derby!
With Wolves in League One and Birmingham still in the Championship, it's only West Bromwich Albion that qualifies as a West Midlands Derby for Villa these days.
West Brom v Aston Villa: 23 November
Aston Villa v West Brom: 28 January
Get out the bottle
Here's a look at the places we don't want to go.
Chelsea: Villa travel to Stamford Bridge on 31 August
Manchester City: Villa visit the Etihad on 8 March
Manchester United: The trip to Old Trafford is on 29 March
