Jores Okore closer to joining Aston Villa

After missing on their initial bid, it seems as if Aston Villa are getting closer to signing Denmark international Jores Okore.

After finding out last week that Aston Villa had made - and had rejected - a £3 million bid to Danish club FC Nordsjaelland for Jores Okore, I assumed Lambert would turn his attention elsewhere. Apparently, that assumption was wrong, as Villa are reportedly close to signing the Denmark international on a £4 million fee. According to reports seen practically everywhere, Okore is in Birmingham for a medical and to finalize terms on a contract. If so, this would mean that Aston Villa would likely be wrapping up the signing of two Danish players in a week.

Okore helps to address Aston Villa's glaring need for some help in defense, as the center back is highly rated, and should be around for a while, since he's only 20 years old. Is this getting repetitive?

I've got an idea. Play along with me here. It's called "Write an Aston Villa Transfer rumour!"

Paul Lambert has apparently been looking at (someone you've never heard of). The (number that is less than 22)-year-old from (country that is not England or Scotland) is the target of a £(number less than 5) million transfer fee. His current club (make up a random name, because most of us haven't heard of them... be honest) is loathe to lose the youngsters services, but can't turn down the sweet sweet money aston Villa has to offer.

There! You did it! Now, copy and paste for a few weeks. We'll be sure to update as soon as any more news becomes available.
