In addition to being the best Aston Villa match most of us have seen in ages, Monday's 6-1 victory over Sunderland provided some of the best football pictures we've seen all season. Some combination of the evening lighting, the rain, and the atmosphere at Villa Park came together to help Getty photographers Laurence Griffiths and Richard Heathcote take some incredible shots.
