We Fail At Life, We Missed An Aston Villa Injury

Less sex with managers' daughters could be the solution to my groin problem, you say? Well, I'll give that a thought.

Dudes, we fail, and we heartily apologize. Despite managing to put up an article regarding Aston Villa players on international duty, somehow our internet-scouring abilities failed us all, and not a one of us managed to post on the fact that Darren Bent picked up an injury that kept him out of both training and the England match against Bulgaria. His groin trouble also kept him out of training yesterday, and now the striker has been ruled out of the match with Wales on Tuesday.

To say this is troubling is certainly an understatement. Yeah, Bent has only scored one goal this season, but it's service that's the problem (well, that and his utter inability to comprehend the offside rule), not his poaching abilities. He needs to stay healthy so this squad can continue to gel. Of course, if Alex McLeish is hell bent on using Emile Heskey, having him up front instead of behind the striker for a couple matches wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
