Well, since I had the joy of running the 7500 to Holte twitter feed today, Kirsten let me put together the Storify version of events for the recap tonight. Despite one of the most boring games ever played, one which seemed to confirm so many bad stereotypes of soccer, the twitter feed was rather a delight today. Stoke's negative tactics really seems to bring out the vitriol in everyone.

Don't let anyone tell you that the Darren Bent signing wasn't worth it. He's earned every pence thus far and looks to be a wonderful anchor for the team going forward. I think it's pretty safe to say that without Bent, Villa would be playing Championship soccer next year.
