Gerard Houllier, oddly described as "spiky" by the Daily Mail (I would've gone with "prickly" myself), has made it known that the Aston Villa squad will see some rotation come the FA Cup tie with Blackburn Rovers. Silly me, I thought using Nathan Baker rather than Ciaran Clark and bringing Jean Makoun into the mix on Tuesday was squad rotation, but I'm guessing Houllier's about to throw on a starting XI he picks out of a hat and doesn't want the football gods coming after him slapping fines on his head.

(By the way, is anyone else annoyed that Blackpool got fined for fielding a weak team, and yet that weak team very nearly beat the Villa?)

So with our Villans almost all back to full health -- I think even Luke Young can be included in the squad -- who do you want to see take the pitch on Saturday? Who gets a rest? Your picks are likely shaped by your thoughts on the FA Cup. Many fans think it's our one chance for glory this season, especially after Birmingham City booked themselves a Wembley trip this week. Others think it's much more important to make a league push and ignore the Cup.

Something else to keep in mind: This cup tie comes in the middle of a string of five games in thirteen days, which just might influence which players you choose for Saturday. Oh, and remember, Darren Bent is cup-tied. Other than that, fair game. Be as creative as you like.
