Aston Villa Victory News Round Up

I don't know about y'all, but I'm still buzzing over Villa's win against Wolves. There are plenty of match reports to check out, and Aaron should be writing ours for today, but these articles provide some interesting detail.

Stewart Downing on Wolves Match: Downing needs some help with adjectives, but he's pretty clear on the competition of Villans for places within the starting XI.

Remember what I said about breaking legs?: Turns out Steve Sidwell's tackle on Adlene Guedioura resulted in a fractured tibia. To say that I am no fan of Sidwell's is a gross understatement. This certainly did nothing to lift my opinion of him. I'm amazed Sidwell didn't get sent off.

Chalkboard analysis from Zonal Marking: Check out where Ashley Young is passing from, and try not to look too much at the one depicting Gareth Barry's superb match against Chelsea.

Heroes and Villains: When was the last time Emile Heskey was the hero of anything? Oh yes, just four days prior to Sunday's match. It's so nice to enjoy calling him a Villan again.
