Want a Stephen Warnock kit? Hope you didn't buy one last season, because Aston Villa's former number 25 is now a number 3. Moving up 22 places in the world--well done, Stephen. Nathan Baker, Barry Bannan, and Shane Lowry all have squad numbers now, as does keeper Elliot Parish, although the poor guy doesn't even have his own wikipedia page yet. But he gets to wear #43 so that's got to be a boost to his ego, right?

For the full squad name and number list, visit the official site. Our roster (up at the top) should be correct by the end of today.

In unpleasant news, it seems neither James Collins or Carlos Cuellar will be fit for the match against West Ham on Saturday. Collins has a calf problem and Cuellar a hamstring issue. Let's all get behind the #LichajForGodOrAtLeastRightBack campaign, shall we? Villa won't be putting Curtis Davies in there, either, even if he thinks that Martin O'Neill's departure means he'll get a fair crack at the squad. He's still nursing a knee injury. Finally, Gabriel Agbonlahor is also in doubt for the opening match of the Premier League season, as he also has a hamstring injury.

Deep breaths, everyone, and try to think of the positives. Ashley Young has been looking good playing behind John Carew. The youngsters have been impressive. Even Stewart Downing is looking pretty good.

What's keeping you calm as we get closer to SATURday?
