Open World Cup Thread, Losers Game for Pathetic Losers

I've always found the notion of third-place games to be bizarre, but that's probably because I'm an American. We're both hyper-competitive and unfathomably lazy, so while we want to win if we can't the idea of getting off the couch to play for third place seems like way too much effort. But since I'm not playing, hooray! Good soccer teams playing each other in soccer!

Kirsten has pretty much covered this one in her post below, but Graham did bring up an interesting point in the comments; Miroslav Klose is one goal shy of tying Ronaldo's record for most goals scored in the World Cup. That's a neat little subplot to keep an eye on, assuming you're not staring at Diego Forlan the whole time.
