According to the Liverpool Echo, Roy Hodgson will arrive in Liverpool Wednesday morning to sign a contract with Liverpool FC. Hodgson led Fulham to the finals in the Europa League last season, but could only manage to take them to 12th in the league. Yet he impressed most of England with his management of FFC, reigniting interest in the Europa tournament and earning accolades as manager of the year. Many believed him to be Fabio Capello's successor, the heir to the England throne, but it appears that Roy has chosen the easier task of whipping Liverpool into shape.
Liverpool has the talent, and with Hodgson at the helm, they could very well find themselves back into Champions League play at the end of next season--if, and it's a big if, their talent sticks around.
