Let's face it--this game is of very little interest to anyone other than Villa fans. And even for us, there's only a slight possibility of moving up to fifth, and that's only if West Ham beat Man City. Of course, all fans want their teams to win, so...there's that.
We already had our big win against Blackburn, when we beat them 7-4 over two legs in the Carling Cup. Then again, they also beat us 2-1 back in September. We're not likely to see anything fresh and new in our lineup, either. So really, there's not much to say as we take to the grounds at Villa Park tomorrow afternoon for the last time of this Premier League season.
Let's just be immensely proud of the lads for what they've given us this season: Europa qualification, a Carling Cup final and an FA Cup semi-final. And let's hope that MON's words about wanting to stay at Villa hold true, and that we'll find him pacing the touchline again next season.
