Ashley Young was not able to train this week due to a knee problem, and has officially been ruled out of Aston Villa's visit to Wigan Athletic. Gabriel Agbonlahor, on the other hand, has recovered from his chest infection and will be available to face the Latics. It's seriously time to send a care package of Emergen-C, Echinacea, Vicks Vapor Rub and whatever else might stop silly illness from striking down the Villans. We have enough trouble with knees, ankles, and groins (Young the Lesser's still out with that).

Wigan, for their part, have midfielder Tom Cleverley likely available, after realizing his rib was not actually broken by Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini. Perhaps the hair was a buffer? In fortunate news to those who find threats lurking around every corner, Maynor Figueroa is suspended for this match. Guy's a bit dangerous, even if it's not always readily apparent.

Now if the Villa could just keep everyone else healthy for the next twenty-four hours, this match might not be an implosion.
