Aston Villa News Review: Injury Returns; Villans And Their Countries

For some reason, nearly every story I found in the past twenty four hours involved Villans and their international obligations/duties/fun. Maybe they're saving everything else for tomorrow? I don't know, but here's your Villans abroad edition of the news review.

Injury Report: Richard Dunne, Marc Albrighton and--thank God--Emile Heskey all in training and available for the weekend. Luke Young is out for the next three games while Gabriel Agbonlahor continues to be absent from our lives.

Ciaran Clark Chooses Ireland: Do the English get all snippy about this the way Americans do? I mean, it's not like the Three Lions have the world's best defense right now, but I'm thinking that no one really cares that Clark decided to play for Ireland after playing for England's U-18s.

Ireland Should Return To Ireland: Gerard Houllier urges Stephen Ireland to end his riff with the Irish National team. What I think he means is--Stephen, you messed up, but they're willing to have you back so man up and say and you'll go back. And if you ever lie to me I'mma cut you. No? Anyway, it looks like the Villa might have more Boys in Green than Englishman soon.

Brad Guzan Talks Up Eric Lichaj: Brad 2.0 thinks Lichaj was one of the better players in the USMNT game against Columbia. Not that hard considering the state of the US defense, but still, good to know, considering Lichaj was playing in front of the USMNT third-choice goalie. Also, Lichaj mentions that there was never a chance he would play for Poland.
