David Moyes just got done finally bringing Manchester United to failure that we've all wanted from them for so long. Well done, Agent Moyes! Prior to that, of course, he had taken Everton from being a team who were roughly equivalent to what Aston Villa have been recently, to consistently joining the conversation of European competition. And once he left, it seems he had laid enough groundwork for another manager to put them in the Champions League picture.
Aaron is working on a piece about David Moyes at Aston Villa, but in the meantime, I'd like to know what you think. In certain ways, the fit makes sense. Villa could use the type of stability that Moyes brought to Everton, and they seem to have the talent to succeed already (see: Chelsea match. Ignore: most everything else). Moyes' managerial style, though, is one that rubs a lot of people the wrong way. It's, perhaps, too safe.
So let us know what you think in the poll below. If Paul Lambert is indeed sacked this summer, should Aston Villa try to lure in David Moyes? Feel free to elaborate on your answer in the comments.
