Suárez set to return to action Wednesday against Manchester United | The Guardian

Luis Suárez will play Wednesday in the League Cup tie at Old Trafford for Liverpool in his first competitive game since April following the end of his 10 match ban for biting.  Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers used an unfortunate cliché saying that Suárez was "champing at the bit" to start the match.  Rodgers hasn't yet decided if the Uruguayan will start, but he should see some time on the pitch in some capacity against the reigning Premier League champs.
